Important questions and answers about the BIOFACH Congress.

  • When and where will the congress take place?
    The congress will take place from February 11-14 at the exhibition center.
  • How will the congress programme be designed?
    The congress program is designed by industry players for the industry. Every year in late summer (end of August at the latest), the call for ideas for the following year's congress program is published. The deadline for submissions is then 6-8 weeks later. From the abundance of proposals, the congress program is selected and put together.
  • When and where will the BIOFACH congress programme be published? 
    The initial programme is expected to be published here on the website 6-8 weeks before the start of BIOFACH 2025. There is no printed congress program.
  • In which languages will be discussed or presented?
    Congress languages are German and English. Selected contributions will be translated simultaneously.
  • As an exhibiting company, how can I inform trade visitors about (product) innovations?

    Exhibitors are very welcome to submit proposals for topics for the congress. However, content that is promotional or one-sidedly product-related cannot be considered for the congress program.

    Moreover Exhibitors have the opportunity to book a 15-minute slot on one of our presentation stages directly in the exhibition halls for a fee. For further information, please contact eventteam@biofach.de. Further information will be available shortly at www.biofach.de.

  • How long will the congress last and how many congress sessions are scheduled?
    Approximately 120 congress sessions will take place over the four days of the fair.
  • How long are the individual congress sessions?
    Each session lasts between 45 and 90 min.
  • Can I view the congress presentations online?
    Selected congress sessions can be viewed as a recording on " BIOFACH digital (for at least 3 months). Access to the BIOFACH digital is exclusively for trade fair visitors and exhibitors and is included in the ticket price.
